- ACAndrea CaloMay 12, 20261.0I have had a very negative experience with PNC in the past six months. I visited the branch multiple times to resolve an issue with my mother’s IRA accounts. The branch people tried to resolve the issue, but were not able to after numerous tries and it ended up costing my family over $45,000 because PNC could not figure out how to fix my mom‘s IRA monthly payments and it made her in eligible for Medicaid qualification. After six months it still has not been resolved. I had to close her IRA completely and give all of the money to the facility. It was extremely upsetting and nobody from headquarters ever would return my phone calls. My whole family had accounts with the bank and we have all since canceled them all. Every other bank that my mother had accounts at I had no issue, but PNC could just not figure out how to send my mom a monthly check for a yearly check and I really still do not understand why.

But the last few years I’ve been going to the Buffalo Speedway bank and everyone (tellers, greeter, manager) have all been extremely courteous and competent. While I was there last week my debit card chip wasn’t working and they literally made me a new debit card in a few minutes—they have a machine for that. I think the Buffalo Speedway location is terrific.
