- SHSteve HainesAug 12, 20261.0We opened up three checking accounts with PNC bank about a month ago. We moved to Wellington Bank about two weeks ago. PNC bank is the worst bank we have ever dealt with. They are suspicious of every customer. You have to wait one year to be able to cash a check that you get and want cash instead of depositing it. And yes even if it was only for 100.00. If you have a problem you have to call the toll free number and talk to someone who barely can speak English. Run hard and fast from this place. Wellington Bank maybe the best bank, friendly, reliable, they do everything at the bank, even give you your debit cards right there from their debit card machine. Life is good with Wellington. We found nothing good at PNC, at all.

Now they match the fees of withdrawals on 3rd party ATMs. But, recently had documents notarized for free... a nice service that most banks provide for members. Raised from 2 to 3 stars for the friendly workers. The ATM thing is still ridiculous.
