- MBMilica BarbirSep 12, 20261.0Beware this location. I went to cash a check and I thought my other PNC bank was closed on Saturday. I came to this one. Mind you, I came this bank often but it’s been a year due to moving that I don’t visit as often. I handed over a check and my license. The employee asked also for my debit card or a credit card. Mind you, I have been a user of this location when it was BBVA and Compass Bank before it became PNC. So roughly 20 years. I have never been asked for another credit card or debit card to cash a check. Especially a $40 check. He told me this has always been their policy. Since when? He said always. I left and went to another PNC and was able to cash my $40 check with my regular drivers license. So, not sure why they want your debit card or credit card but in today’s environment, it’s easy to steal your credit card info.
