  Very disappointing experience. When I signed my title loan, I was incorrectly told I only had 24 hours to cancel. After reading my contract, I discovered I actually had 3 days to cancel without penalty. I returned the very next morning with the original, uncashed check to cancel the loan. The staff refused to accept it and insisted I cash it first and return cash. Only after I called corporate did they admit I could return the original check. Corporate was no better. I was told I should "just keep the check" because the branch had already taken my title to the DMV and placed a lien on it. I refused because I was still well within my contractual cancellation period, and that is not how the contract works. Minutes later, I was told the title had been retrieved from the DMV, which only added to the inconsistent and misleading information I received. I canceled because borrowing $700 would have cost me over $1,800 to repay. Between the misinformation from both the branch and corporate and the attempts to discourage me from exercising my right to cancel, I have filed complaints with the appropriate Texas consumer protection and financial regulatory agencies. Read your contract carefully and know your rights before doing business here.
