- AAAnnetteJul 13, 20261.0I went in there to get a new debit card. They signed me in at 9:38am. Three people were signed in at 9:04 and 9:00am. The offices were vacant, just the workers typing away lord knows what. I asked the front desk how long the wait period will be because I see others signed in way before me, at 9:00am. Her response, “first come, first served!” That’s not the point, the point is… does it really take that long to get a new debit card??? I’m not going to wait almost an hour like those other people in the waiting room. I left & went to the shell federal credit union in La Porte. It literally took them 5 minutes to get me a new debit card! 5 minutes!!!! Do NOT go to the Deer Park location, these workers are slow as molasses. There were no customers in the offices!!! What are these workers doing in there (besides staring at their computers)? Saves your time & go to the one in La Porte, they work fast & get the job done in literally 5 minutes.
