If I could give this credit union one star repeatedly, I would without hesitation. In all my years of working within government facilities and federal departments, I have never encountered an experience with a financial institution quite like this. Throughout my years of banking with various credit unions and financial institutions, both in-state and out-of-state, I have never experienced this level of unnecessary difficulty, inconsistency, and frustration. My experience with this bank is extremely disappointing. I live in another state and personally traveled to Texas, taking time away from work, to provide the documentation requested so I could properly assist my father with his affairs. I completely understand the importance of protecting customers from fraud, especially elderly customers. However, almost every legitimate transaction my father makes seems to be questioned or flagged, while genuinely unusual behavior such as requesting or issuing multiple checks or paying the same bills more than once has gone unnoticed. There seems to be an inconsistency between what is considered suspicious and what actually warrants concern. What makes this even more concerning is the inconsistency in what the credit union considers a potential risk. There have been instances where my father withdrew a significant amount of cash and misplaced it shortly after leaving the bank, requested multiple checks, or paid the same bills more than once, yet these patterns did not appear to raise the same level of concern. Meanwhile, legitimate transactions, legal documents, and efforts by family to properly assist him are repeatedly treated with suspicion. I’ve called on multiple occasions before to speak with someone and no one contacted me or transferred me to someone who could at least assist with the matter. Instead I’ve gone through tons of verification process, being asked to come in person in which I did, and no one actually helped Despite providing Power of Attorney documents prepared through his attorney that he then took to get notarized through this bank, my father was left questioning whether the documents were legitimate, whether something was “off,” and even whether his attorney was a real person. I have spent my hard-earned money ensuring his legal affairs are handled properly, so this has been incredibly frustrating. Fraud prevention should protect customers, not create unnecessary fear surrounding legitimate transactions, legal documents, family assistance, or professional services from individuals who are licensed. Bankers should provide banking guidance and use the appropriate verification process when concerns arise rather than offering opinions on someone’s estate documents or personal affairs. Helping an aging parent from another state is difficult enough without legitimate arrangements constantly being treated as suspicious while truly unusual account activity goes unquestioned.

They are not knowledgeable about services , they are racially insensitive towards African Americans and All complaints regarding this behavior fall on deaf ears. The staff is busy breaking at the same time and leaving the floor with 1 person during crucial hours. If certain persons don’t come in they can’t offer assistance such notary services or debt services because the machine has been broken for 2 weeks. Customer service is nonexistent at this location.
