- WMWendi MolinarJan 19, 20261.0I went to night deposit cash into my checking account. After 3 hours later my money still hasn't shown up in my account. When you deposit cash it should automatically show up in your account. Since they changed to South State Bank this is the been the most horrible experience I have ever experienced with a bank. This is why they have so many bad reviews. I would advise not to put cash into the ATM machine because you never know when it's going to show up in your account. They need to have their hours more convenient for your customers. And not the hours convenient for the employees
