  So I was written a check from an business that was drawn on a pnc bank account. I do not have a traditional bank because 90% of the time I dont deal with checks so cash or electronic payment is fine with using electronic type apps. So I go into this branch location with my GOVERNMENT ISSUED STATE DRIVERS LICENSE and check in hand to cash it. They not only were going to charge me 2.5% to cash a check that their account holder wrote me but then they want 2 forms of ID. The second form of ID being a debit card from my "major financial institution". Well now if I had a "major financial institution" wouldn't I just go cash said check at my own bank? Now I did show them 3 other debit cards with same matching name (cash app, square, and venmo) but they said those aren't valid "banking institutions". The 1099 I get every March showing my cc sale amounts begs to differ. The lady was rude and didn't even seem like she wanted to be at her job much less be helpful in any kind of way. Then I go look at the reviews for said business and it all makes sense. There is a reason this bank holds a less than 3 star review

  Today I had one of the worst customer service experiences with PNC. This location has some of the lowest customer service ratings, and it seems that no one at PNC is taking action to address the problem or properly train the staff. It is unfortunate that a company invests millions of dollars in innovation and growth, yet some employees fail to understand that their role is to serve customers and ensure they leave satisfied. With so much competition in the market today, providing poor customer service is unacceptable. Does anyone at PNC care about improving this situation?

  Honestly the review is about the bank, but realistically, people want to know about this particular location. The staff here is incredibly wonderful. It is a smaller location; however, there is usually not a wait. From the tellers to the bankers to management, customer service is exceeded. The bank logo is tried and true. If you’re looking for a good bank, this location is a great option.
