  I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this bank. They completely wasted my time. I went through the whole process of opening an account, only to find out later that they never gave me the accurate information I needed from the beginning. After their mistake, they reached out with barely any effort to fix it no real explanation, no accountability, and no urgency. If this is how they treat someone just trying to open an account, I can’t imagine what customer service would be like later on. Definitely not worth the frustration. I won’t be banking here and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

  I’ve been skeptical of some of the changes that SouthState has implemented because I’ve been a customer of independent for a while. However, this location is great to work with and a representative (Adriana) recently went above and beyond for me. Give them a try if you need a local bank!
