- SYShane Young5 days ago1.0DO NOT USE THEM! Don't Trust them. I Used them for a few years. because I had no options in town for a Commercial account. DO NOT USE THEM, they will fee you to death all kinds of hidden fees they don't tell you about up front. Then they don't allow you to close your account unless you go there in PERSON.. DO NOT USE THEM!

You find amazing individuals within the company but the overall place is horrible. There is nothing but trouble with the user interface and their technology. Nothing ever works right and they quit caring about their customers.

- JSJason ScottApr 1, 20261.0Went in on Monday 3/30/26 to open a TDECU account, after the banker Victor Garcia, took close to $1000 to fund the new account from my current banks debit card he informed me that he could not open a new TDECU account. No reason as to why was given, it was just said to be a branch decision. I asked for the return of my money and was told it was not available and it was not in their system. I was told that it had been reversed and should be back in my account by end of day. However that was not true. It is now Thursday 4/02/2026 and after many calls daily to Corporate and to my other Financial institution, I still do not have the funds back in my account. I would strongly advise against doing business with this Credit Union as when I was talking to the assistant branch manager at the branch ahe informed me this has been voiced as a concern before. apparently nothing has been done to fix this problem or they just dont care that they are inconviencing people with no access to their money. Also while speaking to a representative at corporate offices she admitted to me that she has the same bank as my other financial institution, to me that says alot when your own employees bank at other places instead of the one they work for.
