- DMDavid Mertz3 days ago1.0I recently discovered that Home Federal Bank charges a 3% fee for counting change. I've been a customer of theres for 50 plus years. I have a good amount of money invested with them,and for them to want more money for such a simple job is a slap in the face. It's not like I bring change in every week or month. At the most every couple of years. They want to charge for a simple 5 to 10 minute job. It's certainly not because their tellers are swamped with work. When I went to confront the manager, 2 of the tellers were reading books and the window teller was working a picture puzzle. All the manager could say was that he was sorry. I'm in the process of taking my business elsewhere.

I recently visited this location and had the pleasure of working primarily with Haley and Tabatha. They were both incredibly kind, patient, professional, and genuinely caring throughout my visit. They took the time to listen, answer my questions, and assisted me with my requests. I also had the opportunity to briefly meet and speak with Nate, Alex, and their awesome manager, Andy, and they were just as friendly, welcoming, and pleasant. Everyone I encountered had such a personable, down-to-earth attitude that truly stood out. I have interacted with Home Federal employees at different branches, and I can honestly say that every experience has been positive. The employees have consistently been top-notch, kind, respectful, and committed to providing excellent customer service. I would highly recommend the Home Federal North Broadway branch to anyone looking for a place where they will be treated with patience, kindness, and genuine care.
