Don't use the bank if you want to have access to your money. Several times my bank issued debit card has been locked and cancelled and I have had to wait for a new card in the mail 7-10 or more business days.
The most recent time this happened I had to have 2 separate cards ordered because an operator activated a card that was in the mail. Apparently that was ok and wasn't a fraud risk but me checking the balance at the ATM is a fraud risk.
I had to make over 40 calls to try to get access to my money by using a digital card that was issued approximately 30 hours after the fraud alert. Maybe this doesn't sound like a big deal but I had just been paid, I was hundreds of miles away from a branch and customer service really wasn't that concerned even though I have a terminal illness and am experiencing a flair in my pain. I am crying constantly and have had see the doctor almost every day. The doctor and everyone else have made special concessions because I can't pay any copays because I can't access my money.
I couldn't pick up any prescriptions, I haven't been able to pay any bills, I lost my phone service. It was a nightmare.
I was able to transfer a few hundred dollars but the there was another fraud alert on my account and I couldn't transfer money anymore. I was told many incorrect things by customer service at the 800 #. They said 'we don't do business with chime ', etc. There is no tech support...it's just customer service and they really don't know what they're doing. It's actually very sad to think about all the people they're taking advantage of.
I called chime and they were very helpful and I called the local bank to update my personal information. I was immediately transferred to Parrish and lectured. She told me she wouldn't verify my information unless I "changed my tone". It's not personal it's business. I wouldn't recommend this bank unless you're looking for a motherly relationship with your bank. May they reap what they sow in this life and the next.

Don't get me wrong. I love the people that work there. I just do not know about the corporation itself. I miss Great Western Bank
