The 5 Forks Branch in my numerous dealing with them have always been very efficient, customer focused, friendly and just outright nice folks who will go that extra mile to insure the customer is satisfied. If you need a bank in the area , I highly recommend you give this this branch and South State Bank in general an opportunity to be your bank.
I have nothing to do with this bank other than being a customer, but sometimes one just has to say something good when people treat you like a friend and not just a customer. That's really very unusual in this fast paced and impersonal world..

This has been the worst experience we have ever had with a bank (the chain, not necessarily this particular location). We have refinanced (after a short two years) just to get away from them. The customer service they provide is far from superior. I would not recommend banking or getting a loan through South State as they are incapable of keeping up with payments.
