    I walked out feeling completely taken care of, well-informed, and ready to go. A huge shout-out to Candice and Tammy at SouthState Bank for the wonderful customer service. While I was waiting for Tammy to finish with another customer, I had the chance to meet Candice, the branch manager. She was incredibly warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. She answered so many of my questions before my appointment even began! Tammy then made opening my business checking account seamless. She not only helped me get everything set up, including checks, the app, online banking, my debit card, and my deposit, but she also provided a lot of helpful education along the way so I understood everything and felt confident moving forward. I also really appreciated that when I called ahead, the team made sure I knew exactly which documents to bring. (No wasted time or surprises) I’m excited to bank with SouthState, especially with their entry-level business checking account that has no minimum balance or maintenance fees, which is a real benefit to a smaller business owner’s bottom line. Yay! Thank you, Candice and Tammy, for making the entire experience so easy, informative, and welcoming. :)

    I love the staff at the window. Sometimes I have to go in if I need something specific that requires it, but otherwise I go through the drive-in window. They always remember me and they're very friendly.

    Not impressed. stopped in to get a new debit card. teller asked me to have a seat to wait for help. fine. I'm sitting there waiting while 2 tellers are sitting there with no customers just shooting the breeze. one employee is in an office eating lunch (fair) another employee sitting in another office typing. one other employee is in a cubicle helping a customer and it doesn't appear they will be finishing anytime soon. the customer just kept getting up to get more lollipops from the front counter, you mean to tell me there is no one with the skill or access to print a new debit card? I've gone into the n charleston branch before and the teller has been able to print a new card on the spot. this was crazy. I mean at the very least give me a wait time? After the only customer in there grabbed his 3rd lollipop I peaced out.
