  This bank started out great. The staff was friendly, although it was nearly impossible to get anyone to answer the phone. They always seemed willing to help, and I even opened a business account with them. Later, I took out a personal loan after my vehicle broke down. I paid off about half of it, but then I was laid off from my job. I reached out to ask about a hardship program, and that’s when everything changed. The customer service I had experienced before disappeared. The employees at the branch, including the red-haired employee and another who handled business accounts, treated me like I was asking for a handout instead of simply requesting assistance. I then contacted customer service to apply for hardship assistance. That experience was just as frustrating. It took four days of phone calls before I reached someone I could understand well enough to complete the process. I submitted my layoff documentation over a month ago, and according to customer service, my application is still “under review.” Meanwhile, my loan continues to accumulate late fees. I originally had five accounts with this bank, but I’ve since closed four of them and moved to another bank that has been much more responsive and supportive. Based on my experience, I would not recommend banking here. When everything is going well, the service seems fine. But when you genuinely need help, don’t expect the same level of care or support. 10-05-2026 Update. I have since gotten back to work and only use the one account for bills. I have had this happen three times where someone has used a check to withdraw money from my account. I have never used checks and have submitted proof of this. Along with two police reports to the office here in Florence. Once again they beat around the bush and refused to help. I called customer service for fraud and of course the person on the phone barely spoke English. Don’t bank here. Nothing but a headache now.

  I think that people who work in this area don't get paid because they are in front of you, you talk to them, they ignore you, others talk to you and you see them more when you chew gum, what's going on, people are not professional.

  The branch is very unwelcoming. I will literally come in and no greet, no acknowledgement..nothing. They just look at you like "not you again". They would rather whisper amongst each other than see what assistance I need. I sat in the branch for an hr waiting to get some papers notarized to conveniently right at 5pm be told by a clerk that Kisha said "itll be awhile". If it wasnt for Jessica M's service, I would've been close these secondary accounts.

  Today was my first time going inside of this branch. They don't seem to be thrilled to see you. I love the Bank itself though. Great account options, Online Customer service is amazing, as well as an incredible mobile app. I don't intended on going inside this branch again. Unless it's absolutely necessary.
