- ASAshley SecoskyMay 22, 20262.0I recently observed behavior from John Chase of Chase Wealth Management Group that I found very concerning from a leadership and character standpoint. During a little league baseball game, he encouraged or allowed his team to loudly yell at opposing players in an attempt to distract them so his team could secure first place. As someone watching the event, I found the behavior disappointing and inappropriate for an adult working with children. Youth sports should teach sportsmanship, respect, and leadership, and in my opinion this demonstrated the opposite. Character and professionalism matter greatly in any business, especially one built on trust and relationships. Based on what I witnessed, I personally would question whether this reflects the type of leadership and judgment I would want from someone managing important matters for clients.
