My recent experience with South State Bank was incredibly disappointing. I opened an account, only for it to be shut down less than a week later under the false pretense of fraud, without any prior warning, phone calls, or emails. When I went to the branch to speak with the bank manager who helped me, she took no accountability, acted as if she didn't have the answers, and shifted the blame to others.
This lack of communication and professionalism is
unacceptable for a financial institution.
