This is a review about this particular branch and not PNC in general though the poor experience here makes me question the overall corporation.
I have been a PNC customer for 30 years and have never had issues at any location. I usually do not go to the Warrington Branch even though it is the closest branch to me, choosing to either bank online or go to the Ambler branch which was close to my former place of employment. I had a check that could not be deposited online and therefore had to go into the branch. As it was an important check and I also would have no way to replace it if it I somehow lost or damaged it, I immediately went to to Warrington to take care of it as quickly as possible. Big mistake.
I had less than great experiences here before but nothing to note as an issue. As I walk into the branch, I see that where the tellers used to be is walled off. Someone immediately intercepts me in a way that made me feel like I shouldn't be there. Not unfriendly, but not welcoming either. I explain that I need to deposit this check and I can't do it online and am told to go to the ATM in the vestibule. I start to explain again and only get past expressing concern on the amount of the check and am told yes, the ATM can handle this and am dismissed.
So I wait awkwardly in line to not crowd the person using the ATM as the vestibule isn't set up to serve as the bank teller. I deposit the check through the ATM, get the confirmation that it was accepted, and then check my mobile app while still in the lobby and later at home that it was on my account to be sure.
I get an email overnight that the check could not be processed - ATM unpresentable. I am now extremely stressed out because I do not have any idea if/when I will get this check back and cannot replace it.
This branch failed to do the most basic feature to deposit a check into my checking account. They would rather pay a person to stand in the lobby and gatekeep rather than provide assistance to customers. If I wanted to go to an ATM to do my banking business, I would go to an ATM! Why claim this location is a branch? Two months ago, this branch also had no trouble to call me 3 times in a 5 day period to try to sell me additional services. Never!

I got a car loan through a dealership 3 months ago and my credit score is just under 900 so you would think that I would get the best available percentage rate for an auto loan. I was declined twice then got a rate of 7.2% at PNC which is horrible. I intended to transfer the loan to my credit union because they're offering 4+% Auto loan. My first payment slip arrives and gives me the option of paying online or at ANY PNC branch. I went to PNC Warrington for Feb payment and was greeted by two women who were both nice but offered some resistance to taking my payment and wanted me to figure out how to do their video call payment in the foyer. I explained that I was not doing anything other than dropping off a check and leaving. They process the payment for me. I could see one man in the office playing on his computer solitaire game. There were no other employees ore customers present. March I came back to PNC Warrington since my transfer was not yet complete. The woman at the desk took my payment and asked if I would please set up auto pay and not come to the bank. I declined. She took my check and went in the back. The employee man from The office jumped up from his desk and ran after her behind the locked door. He retrieved my check and told me I could not pay my auto loan here anymore. He told me to go figure out the video camera and do it myself. He did not speak in a pleasant tone. I declined. The receptionist offered to show me how to use the video camera. This is the first time that an employee offered to show me how to use that video system instead of figuring it out for myself. I did not wish to be on video camera for personal reasons. I stood back far enough that I was not viewable as the lady back employee process the transaction. The employee on the video camera did not speak good English and did not seem to understand what we were trying to accomplish today. After much back and forth the transaction appeared to be complete. The local employee said she would double-check that the payment posted the next day because she wasn't confident. The local employee did in fact telephone me the next day and confirm that the payment was posted. I'm very glad not to be a PNC customer. There are no tellers windows, you can get no money at this branch, nor make payments. I don't know what these people do all day at work, but I would not be surprised if this Branch were shut down soon. Glad to be done the with them. Could not wait to get out of there! Seriously lacks customer service. Glad i bank elsewhere, at Hatboro Federal Savings where they have actual tellers, managers, and kind staff.

Terrible customer service. Manager Joe was the only notary available and was in back working on something else. He had a cashier bring him the document and decided after reviewing it that he would not come out to notarize it. Basic document, maybe 5 minutes at the most to sign and stamp... Sorry to be an inconvenience... I will bring my banking needs elsewhere.
