- ARAndrew RainsJul 18, 20261.0Isn't the point of a home equity loan to consolidate debt and to do some repairs the point of lowering you debt to income ratio? You would think if you consolidate and it all drops that's the point but no they held a co signed loan for our daughter to get her started in life against us. We will never look into doing business here again.
