  The branch manager Andrea was incredibly helpful and supportive with setting up my business bank account! I really felt that she was genuinely excited for me and it felt like being helped by a friend. I have also done my personal banking here and everyone is always so incredibly kind and friendly.

  Very disappointing experience with the PNC Shadyside branch. I scheduled an in-person appointment specifically to open new business accounts and arrived with all requested documentation. I was told by John that he needed a day to review the paperwork before opening the accounts. I promptly provided everything requested, but approximately seven days later, despite multiple attempts to follow up, I have received no response and the accounts have not been opened. Considering the same account-opening process can be completed through a virtual appointment in approximately 60–90 minutes, going into the branch has resulted in an unnecessary waste of time with no follow-through. I would appreciate someone from PNC addressing this and helping complete the account opening promptly.

  Edit: Called customer service in the parking lot and they were able to do what your workers standing around doing nothing refused to. No wonder they keep closing branches. A bunch suits standing around while making customers sit and wait. The single weirdest and unsettling bank setup I’ve ever seen in my life. Why do I need an appointment when the customer service rep told me I could just stop by a branch? Why is there a bouncer at the door immediately asking me if I have an appointment? Why is there no one behind the counter? ITS A BANK.
