  A bank is a bank. I wish they gave out free samples lol. Sometimes their ATM missions are broke which is annoying. But the bank is nice and friendly and the tellers are all very helpful. I highly recommend this brand.

  I walked in here a few weeks ago and was greeted by a guy at something of a reception desk. He asked me what I was in for and I told him that I needed to turn in a form to initiate an automatic payment on a loan. He said that he could take the form and get it to the right person, so I just handed it to him and left without hesitation. The whole transaction took maybe 60 seconds. As I was driving home I realized that I just blindly handed some guy my personal info including bank account numbers. Got a little worried. But, sure enough, a few days later my automatic payment processed and that nameless dude did what he said he'd do. Way to go, PNC. I dock 1 star due to non existent interest rates on their savings accounts.

  Horrendous bank and even worse managers. My husband and I have one checking account and two savings account with PNC. We've been customers for almost 20 years. We had a 'line of credit' with them which was actually our mortgage. We made the mistake of refinancing with PNC to get a lower rate. It took PNC 6 months to complete everything and we were told, at the end of the process, that if we did not do auto deduction, our interest rate would rise from the 2's to the 3's. Our loan officer waited until we had our house appraised and submitted all the paperwork and were ready to close to tell us that. Worst of all, PNC made a $1,000 overpayment on our original loan. They told us we would receive that overpayment via check in 10 days. Over a month later and they send us a check for $173. The loan officer manager Kathleen Santa was to look in to this and has not been able to figure anything out in a week. I asked that she call my husband and I and she replied that she was busy. When we did speak to her, she was extremely rude, told us to go back and read our contract, was talking about an escrow account we never had, then said if we wanted her to help us we had to be nicer to her. When I told her we were coming to the branch the next day to resolve this, she actually laughed out loud. OUTRAGEOUS! We are closing all of our accounts and once someone with half a brain figures out the refinance issues, we will be taking that loan someplace else. How can you trust a bank that has employees who lie, bully and call customer names.
