  Very nice PNC location at 8th and Christian. Two ATMs in the lobby, and usually at least two tellers are working. There is also an ATM in the branch which can be used for larger cash withdrawals. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Overall a pleasant banking experience.

  My roommate arrived in the US in July. While staying at his first place, he opened an account with PNC. After moving in with us, he didn't know he needed to update his address and phone number, so he didn't make the changes. Meanwhile, the bank tried to contact him but couldn't reach him, so they placed a hold on his funds. We went to the bank together; since his ATM card was also blocked, he couldn't use it either. We visited the branch, and a representative processed the request, closed the old account, and opened a new one. They said they would mail the funds as a check to his home address. We followed up a few times; finally, last Friday, they told us it would arrive. We went back, had a few more discussions, and were told the check would be issued that day. We returned again today; another representative handled the matter, apologized, cancelled the previous check, and arranged for a new one to be mailed to his home within 5 to 7 days. We asked if there was any way to expedite this, but they said it wasn't possible. Since all his money is currently frozen, he is left without funds. We are now entering the third week. I don't know who will compensate him or provide financial support. He doesn't have a single cent and isn't working; what is going to happen? Once the check arrives, he plans to open an account at a different bank.

  Extremely unprofessional experience. I had a confirmed appointment, yet I was left waiting for over 15 minutes without even a basic acknowledgment from the staff. If this bank cannot respect a scheduled appointment, how can they be trusted with my finances? I walked out and will be taking my business to a competitor who values their customers' time. To management: Your lack of basic coordination is costing you clients

  See? I knew it wasn't just me. A gaggle of dozy, hood, hoochie birds, with struggling perms, and muffin-tops. Oh, and their service SUCKS! Perfect cliché.
