  Believe the reviews! When I want to make a payment on my HELOC I have to email the branch and then WAIT — sometimes up to a full WEEK — for them to honor my request. Not even follow-up phone calls to the branch hasten the process. They have no online payment option, and I suspect they’re walking a thin line just inside the bounds of legality on this.

  Terrible bank - they have awful customer service and antiquated practices (no mobile or online payments, notifications only via snail mail, etc.). Unfortunately my mortgage was sold to them so I have no choice but to stick with them - CHOOSE ANY OTHER BANK IF IT IS YOUR CHOICE. I have open and active accounts with five different banks. I'm financially sound and stay on top of my bills and have had consistent issues with them processing, reversing, and missing my payments. Just this afternoon a rep told me I was behind on my mortgage and that he had to pass me over to the default team, who told me differently and then hung up. They're slow, rude, and disorganized.

  Run! Do not walk away from considering using this bank, run! Absolutely worst home buying experience of my life and I've purchased 5 homes. Every single aspect of getting a loan through this bank has been a complete nightmare. They will preapprove you for a loan, let you put deposit down and then come up with stipulations that are outrageous and unreasonable. They don't do any due diligence for preappovals so they mean absolutely nothing. Their employees made mistake after mistake on my loan and caused a great deal of stress. I would not recommend this bank to my worst enemy. They should be shut down, what they are doing to people is not right and I am reporting to the BBB!

  First national Bank sucks ! Too many hidden fees, lies ,and deceit ! Will be closing out my accounts by the end of the week !

  I worked with a banker from First National Bank with assurance that they will procure a commitment letter and refinance on the hospitality asset. After nearly 2 months of providing documentation on a very high cash flowing asset, said we don’t do hospitality loans. This could have been told to me in a single day. What do they do, they apologize, which doesn’t cover my loss of time and loss of another banks commitment and rates are now up. Do Not Do Business with this bank. The worst part about this is that I let go of another bank’s commitment letter. Take your business to Fleetwood Bank, Spiro Kasapidis.
