  I started working with an advisor at the Blue Bell, PA office in 2018 for a simple rollover of a retirement account. Since then, I have moved all of my investment accounts to the firm. My advisor, Brad Kerr IV, has been extremely helpful in making each rolloever for my wife and I simple. The other investment accounts we have with Janney are managed thoughtfully and strategically. We have quarterly calls to make sure we are staying on target, and we have the opportunity to seemlessly change direction as needed. Brad is extremely knowledgeable about short term and long term strategy, and also stays very close to the current landscape. I trust his him fully with my money and he (and his team) have always handled our accounts professionally. We've seen great returns on our investments over the course of the last 7 years. I've recommended multiple people to this company and will continue to do so!

  Dealing with the Blue Bell, PA location after the passing of my father who had investments with JMS. WHAT A NIGHTMARE. My father's broker has been rude to my sister and I since we notified him of Dad's passing. It's been almost nine months of getting the run-around of what we can and can't do with the inherited funds and getting help and responses that are short a curt. We're not investment savvy people (nor was my father which is why he used a broker), but we knew from day one we don't want to deal with a firm an hour or more like my father did. Further there were things they did with my father that I did not approve of... Like MAILING huge checks to him through the USPS in today's day and age of stolen mail, for money he was to just turn around and send back to be reinvested. Ever heard of ACH??? The broker seems to have done everything in his power to NOT help us, and I am on the suspicion it's because he doesn't want to lose the (small beans) funds from his book. He tells us one thing, then in the next correspondence he says just the opposite. Every correspondence is very abrupt. And every day this dragged out it will end up costing us money... very time we say: Tell. Us. What. We. Need. To. Do. To. Get. This. Over. With. He just throws some other mumbo jumbo out at us that still doesn't give us a direction. Get it done! YOU made your commission from my father, do the work. Further we've had enough to deal with losing our father, wrapping up his affairs, and wanted to finally exhale. The only person who has been helpful was the admin we dealt with once, who was very down-to-earth. My opinion, unless you are a high-roller who is investment savvy, find somewhere else, or at the very least another branch of JMS to deal with.
