  I would give them negative stars if I could. We felt completely insulted and disbelieved after being denied an auto loan at this branch. We were told to provide income verification, so we spent an extra hour going back to work to print out a w-2. We reported our income but were told we had to verify it. Then, we were told the verification was inadequate. Apparently, if you elect to move some of your pretax dollars to a retirement or health savings account, even it is your income that you have earned for the year and have access to, it doesn’t count! We have not even spent most of it! It should be no business of theirs how we allocate our money (like to hsa’s and ira accounts), but that counted against us in their eyes and resulted in a much lower income that rendered us ineligible for a loan. Still, Melanie cruelly gave us hope and asked for validation of income, when it seemed that the underwriter had no intention of accepting what we provided. The implication by Melanie when she got our w-2 was that we lied (not that they just chose not to count a portion of our earned income for the year). We actually slightly underreported our income. Then, she said we didn’t provide our son’s income (co-owner of car), when she never specifically asked for it! We took our business to USAA and had an immediate positive response/favorable decision on our application. In 60 years, we have met every financial obligation on time. I would never trust this credit union’s decisions…you could be denied like us when we never have had such trouble in the past on a fairly small loan request (used vehicle). We wasted an entire afternoon trying to work with this credit union. If you have any financial strains be prepared for disappointment at this location. I would take my business to another bank. This was a very bizarre way to treat customers and is against the Oklahoma Standard of treating people. Their approach is a great way to lose good customers and they are hurting themselves by rejecting responsible middle class loan applicants. If you are not wealthy and have high income you may be rejected.

  I have been a member for 20+ years. Friendly people, good service, some of the best rates, reliable organization. That is hard to find these days. So many companies seem to not really care about their customers but this one gets an A+.

  I had an excellent experience at Communication Federal Credit Union. From the moment I arrived, the service was professional and efficient. I especially want to highlight Lisa, who assisted me with incredible kindness and immediate availability to help with everything I needed. You can truly tell when someone loves what they do, and she definitely does. The entire process was smooth, clear, and hassle-free. It’s refreshing to find people who genuinely care about their customers. I highly recommend this bank 100%!
