At first I thought the teller meant we needed to come back in an hour she clarified that no that it takes one hour which we had no issue with by the way . I asked if we needed to make an appointment and she said no , she proceeded to say everyone else needed to be taken care of first which makes no sense we waited in line just like everyone else and the other tellers were quickly and efficiently taking care of the other customers in line . Her response to me was strange , she should’ve asked if we had the time to do the account which we did that’s why we came in , it honestly felt like she just didn’t want to open it for us because it would take an hour she kept repeating “ it would take an hour “ as if that mattered. We wanted a service to be done regardless of how long it would take , we just left and said we’d be back of course we didn’t . I’ve had multiple banks and plenty of savings and checking accounts and I’ve never spent more that 20-30 mins opening an account. We went to Huntington and it took all of 15 mins if it really does take an hour then Civista is way behind .
