- SRStephanie ReedFeb 11, 20252.0I only have one word for this bank, shady! I recently sold a 1/3 percentage of a house of my deceased brother. The bank, Mark, was explicitly told of the details that were a part of the sale paperwork. I was told it would take at least a month. Then all of a sudden I was told it would be longer. In that time frame the bank allowed one of the owners, not all 3, to change the due date of the mortgage payment (essentially to take more money from me as the seller). When the papers were finally sent to my lawyer they were of course incorrect. Then the bank said I had to pay THEIR legal fees to change them. Of course, the bank delay and shady dealings with one of the other two buyers led me to incur extra legal fees as well. As the 1/3 owner, Tony, recently gave Kevin a five star rating I would question if Kevin was the individual that changed the mortgage due date without permission from all 3 individuals on the mortgage.
