While every IRS rep I spoke with was truly helpful, I could not resolve with any of them why they were not only holding up my refund, but on the verge of considering me fraudulent. I appealed to TurboTax and was graced for Leon to come to my aid. It is truly impossible to detail every aspect of the weeks we have worked together, but suffice to say it was wonderful. Leon is patient, and he understood the dilemma I was in, as well as the stress it caused. He guided me every stop of the way as to what to do, what to ask, and what to offer in explanation to the IRS. He is also very insightful, grasping nuances of my situation immediately and offering thoughts that both assured me and offered new insights. A true "detective," he uncovered the error at the heart of the IRS' concern, and was not only able to help remedy it, but also to suggest to his superiors a way to prevent other seniors from having the same concerns. Through all of the work he was always personable, and of good humor, and hopeful. Truly a wonderful professional and fine person. I feel privileged to work with Leon. We have filed my amended return, it is accepted by the IRS and I am on the way to full resolution....and my refund! :).
