- E7Edubbs 77Sep 8, 20261.0Today we went into the bank to get something notarized. Of course we were sitting there waiting while 2 of the 5 PB's were just sitting at their desk. So, I finally get up to ask the teller do they have a notary. Yes, we have to just sit and continue to wait. I was an Asst Branch Manager and I buy houses so I like good banks with good customer service. I know how some of these bankers work, especially towards the end of the day. That being said when I went to the PB closest to the door and asked her can we get something notarized she said yes, but we have to wait. Its almost 4:30 and banks close at 5. I don't want to sit there wasting time if its not going to get done. So I left and went to Chase and my partner stayed. The same PB said "does she expect me to stop my banking procedures to notarize a document" Exactly, so if you didn't want to do it you should have said no. I was gone for about 1 minute because Chase is across the street. In that time she stopped her banking procedures to speak to a customer that came AFTER us and was standing in front of her office waiting to be acknowledged. Back to my original statement, a lot of PB's like to talk to their regular customers for hours instead of helping people that come in. Never again, I will definitely not use this bank for anything!!!
