  If I could give the Garden City team 10 stars, I would. This is a godsend. I was struggling with my tax return for months, filed extension, and couldn’t get the right help that I needed. Extension deadline is approaching. I have been a TurboTax user for almost 30 years, since 1995 if not earlier. Every year, I only used the software to prepare and file my tax return and always ignore all the “ads” such as audit defense and tax adviser services because I never needed it. I was searching for tax help online and came across the new in-store service offered by TurboTax. I didn’t believe it at first because I never thought TurboTax would have a store in the mall. But it was true, I called the location and they are real. Richard helped me setup with an appointment on the same day and I met with Saim. I then made a follow up appointment with Lawrence who helped me to complete my tax return. I was pleasantly surprised how great this team at Garden City is. They are professional, courteous, and with plenty of patience. My return was complicated (to me) and they listened to my issues and offered the correct and precise guidance. I don’t know what I will do without their help. I learned that TurboTax has started opening physical locations throughout the country this year and I am lucky that there is one in Garden City. This is an exceptional experience and I will keep in touch with them going forward. I will definitely use their service without hesitation. If you have tax issue or question, I highly recommend you give them a try. Thanks again Garden City team.

  I recently made a career change and started a new job. With this new position comes a different pay structure, so I wanted to better understand how to prepare for the 2026 tax year and avoid any surprises when it's time to file my 2026 return in 2027. I stopped by the TurboTax office in Garden City to see if someone could provide me with some guidance. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the bright, welcoming atmosphere. The office had a positive, professional feel that immediately put me at ease. I was warmly greeted by Richard, the concierge, who welcomed me with a genuine smile. After carefully listening to my questions and concerns, he promptly introduced me to tax expert Lawrence ("Larry") and took the time to explain my situation so I wouldn't have to repeat everything. I was truly impressed by Larry's extensive knowledge of tax laws, filing requirements, and current regulations. What stood out even more than his expertise was the time and attention he gave me. He listened carefully, asked thoughtful questions, and explained everything in a clear, detailed, and easy-to-understand manner. He addressed every concern I had and made sure I understood what I should do now to prepare for next year's tax filing. Although I am not yet officially Larry's client, he treated me as though I had been working with him for years. His professionalism, patience, and genuine willingness to help gave me complete confidence, and I am looking forward to having him prepare my tax return in 2027. I would highly recommend the TurboTax Garden City office to anyone looking for knowledgeable, professional, and caring tax assistance. Richard and Larry provided outstanding customer service and made what could have been an overwhelming experience both informative and enjoyable. I will certainly recommend them to my friends and family.
