Balthazar Wobbleton
Apr 15, 2026
There are tax experiences… and then there are those epic moments you can’t fully explain or fathom. This, somehow, became the latter.
Hi my name is Balthazar Wobbleton, you’re probably wondering to yourself, how did I get here? And is this going to be just another standard review of an accounting firm?
See I (a brave soul with a W-2 and a dream) walked into Heim Accounting and Tax, Inc. expecting the usual: of course there’s the mild confusion, existential dread, and hope of walking out of there not owing a lot, and with maybe a free pen. What I got instead was a life-altering financial pilgrimage led by the legendary tax professional Pia.
See I didn’t know what to expect walking in here. I was sweating, hands clammy, just before entering a large gulp down my throat. But then from the moment I entered, I was greeted with the kind of warmth usually reserved for long-lost relatives or people who bring you donuts. I mean it was a gust of warmth that surrounded you as it lifted you off the ground and carried you in, as if you floating on cloud. As soon as I got there I was immediately greeted with care and love, as I mentioned… the cloud. The staff was friendly, patient, and shockingly enthusiastic about numbers… like, suspiciously enthusiastic. See I had briefly considered whether I had wandered into a secret society where spreadsheets were worshipped or something.
Then came Pia…
Pia didn’t just “do taxes.” No; she commanded them. She looked at my documents the way a chess grandmaster looks at a board: calm, calculating, and three moves ahead of the IRS at all times. At one point, I swear she put on a pair of dark glass, blacked out aviators like Tom Cruise in Top Gun. And at another point she nodded slightly but knowingly at a receipt and smirked, as if acknowledging an old rival. It was intimidating, enthralling, and deeply comforting.
There was even a moment, possibly real, idk there was a lot going on, in what I can only assume was some possibly tax-induced hallucination; Pia leaned back, cracked her knuckles and grabbed her mouse and keyboard like Vin Diesel in Fast and Furious, and said, “Let’s get you every dollar you deserve.” In some deep action hero movie voice. Then suddenly the air shifted, the kind of feeling you get when something big is about to happen. Like you cannot fathom what is happening before your very eyes, paralyzed to move, eyes glued, in shock. Her eyes and hands were moving faster than prime Ulsan Bolt, the keyboard and mouse clicked like a Morse code machine in WW2, and the printer hummed ominously in the background like, like, a stadium-sized machine powering up for a halftime show, slowly building energy before the moment everyone is waiting for, I strangely felt a calm and… a hope.
And then, like a plot twist in a financial thriller, the return came back. I didn’t know how much I’d end up owing, it’s never a good feeling, the uncertainty, the unknown, like greatest reaches of the Ocean or Outer Space.
But it was a great return. My jaw dropped to the floor, like in a cartoon. This was kind of return that makes you check the numbers twice, then a third time, then briefly consider hugging your accountant (I showed restraint, but it was close). Never had I been so well taken care of.
Now, let’s talk about the alternatives. Sure companies like TurboTax and H&R Block? Ok yea, they exist… They’ll get the job “done” But comparing them to Heim Accounting and Tax, Inc. is like comparing a microwave dinner to a five-star meal cooked by someone who actually cares that you don’t get food poisoning.
TurboTax might guide you. H&R Block might assist you. But Pia? Pia goes to war for you.
I walked in as a confused and afraid taxpayer and walked out as a financially victorious legend (with a refund that may or may not have inspired me to check vacation prices immediately). If you want your taxes done right… with professionalism, humor, and just a hint of mystical energy. I am telling you, Heim Accounting and Tax, Inc. is the ONLY place.
10/10. Would trust Pia with my financial destiny again.
