- JSJames SharkeyApr 27, 20261.0The branch manager told me that she can’t verify a check to cash it. It is common banking knowledge that you can verify Checks to cash them. It seems like every time I go to a Nevada State Bank branch that is not my home branch I get treated like a stranger and have issues every single time. This is one of the main reasons I closed down my business bank account and went to a credit union.
- TLTish LopezApr 20, 20262.0I opened a new bank account and since Lilly has been GREAT. This morning I was asking her questions about my newly opened account. I was waiting on a check to fully deposit. wasn't clear on the terms. Zarrie who helped me on Friday made it a point to cut me off, yell at me and embarrass me making it out like I was lying on the information I was told Friday today is monday. she was extremely unprofessional.... I won't be going back to that location.. I wasn't talking to zarrie and lilly was capable of doing her job. she kept speaking over me and escalated the situation .Not a great look when it's a new customer. I'm allowed to ask questions over a deposit. she really made me feel bad about myself. I did contact customer support and will be going where I can just get common respect and communication.... again other employees there are great! Zarrie however made me feel worthless.

Local bank, friendly staff, and services that you can’t get at other banks; I was able to obtain a medallion stamp here where I could not get one at Chase or Charles Schwab. Also, they still have safety deposit boxes, which all of the major banks do not. Thanks everyone at Nevada State Bank for bringing back that local banking feel. John Burns.

Sometimes slow at the drive up window but mostly due to being short staffed but I don't think its by choice. They did the PPP stimulus for our company. Very fast and no glitches. Our preferred bank by far!
