- JOJosephine Olguin4 days ago1.0My husband opened an account in the mid 80s and unfortunately, he passed away a year ago and dealing with RGCU has been a living hell!! I have gone into the branch two times to take the documentation stating that he did pass away!! And now I have no access to make payments on our vehicle without having to call them every month!! Unfortunately/fortunately I will be closing the account and moving it to Nusenda credit union where you actually feel welcomed! I’d prefer to speak to someone without having to hearing dogs barking in the background, not being able to understand the representative. And when I do speak to a representative, they are the most rude people I’ve ever encountered. I myself was in customer service for many years and never spoke to anyone the way they do on the telephone at RGCU
- ELEsther LopezJun 30, 20261.0I have been a member of Rio Grande Credit Union for years and the tellers are actually for the most part very nice , I enjoy going to the branch at San Pedro and the one on Lomas because the staff there are very courteous and friendly. Unfortunately the representatives answering the phone at the call center are very rude, unprofessional, and arguementative. Today I called because I did not recognize a transaction that was pending for July 12th, well before I could finish explaining the reason for my call, the female rep interrupted me and said " you have to wait till the 12th before you get those funds, they are not available till then". That was not what my question was, totally did not let me state the reason for my call, then she became arguemantative when I clarified her attitude. And this is just an example, of the MANY TIMES their phone support is NOT OFFERING customer support. They are too in a hurry or they are in the wrong profession.

I cannot contact them they only communicate by email to rio grand employees and can not provide tracking numbers for myself or rio grand employees!!
- DDDAVEApr 17, 20261.0The Rio Grande Cu has gone down in customer service product and product service loan officers have this know all personality actually act kinda of rude when talking to over phone. No more in person auto loans.i have been a member for over 25 years not happy anymore with RGCU.
