DO NOT GET ALLSTATE IN NM I have never been so frustrated with an insurance company. My vehicle was totaled in an accident that was not my fault, yet the entire claims process has left me carrying the financial burden. The settlement they offered isn’t enough to replace my vehicle, and it also isn’t enough to repair it if I choose to keep it. I tried working with Allstate, provided additional information, and asked them to reconsider the valuation, but there was absolutely no flexibility. The biggest issue, however, was the complete lack of consistency. Every department I spoke with gave me a different answer. I was initially told I would receive a rental vehicle. Then I was told I would have to pay out of pocket. Later, someone else said Allstate would cover the rental because of the confusion—even though my policy has always included rental coverage. No one seemed to know what the actual policy was. Things became even more confusing when I considered keeping my totaled vehicle. I called my agent to ask whether my insurance rates would be affected since the vehicle already had a salvage title before this accident. I purchased the car as a salvage vehicle years ago and have been insured by Allstate the entire time. Instead of answering my question, I was told Allstate doesn’t insure salvage vehicles and that I would have to find insurance somewhere else. How does that make any sense? My vehicle didn’t suddenly become salvage after this accident—it has always been a salvage vehicle, and Allstate has insured it the entire time. I was then told that when I updated my policy after paying off the vehicle, I supposedly failed to tell them it had a salvage title. But a vehicle’s title history doesn’t magically change from salvage to clean. If Allstate truly doesn’t insure salvage vehicles, why was I able to maintain coverage for years without anyone identifying that issue? It makes me wonder: if this accident had never happened, would Allstate have continued taking my premiums indefinitely? Would I have only discovered this “policy” after filing a claim? That is incredibly concerning. Throughout this process, I have received conflicting information from adjusters, customer service representatives, and agents. No one seems to be on the same page, and customers should not have to figure out which answer is correct. I expected professionalism, consistency, and support from my insurance company, especially when I wasn’t at fault. Instead, I was met with confusion, contradictory information, and a settlement that leaves me in a difficult financial position. Based on my experience, Allstate needs to do a much better job training its employees and ensuring every department understands the company’s policies and provides accurate information to customers.

I live in the Las Cruces area, my experience these past 6 months have been very pleasing, I have had great customer service and they have touched basis with me various times to see if all is well with my insurance needs. I recommend this agency to all of the Albuquerque area and even those farther away.

I had a question about my insurance so I called no one answered so I left a message asking for someone to call me back. That was three weeks ago.

Mr Patel lacks professionalism in the way he treats his potential clients. He seems bored and disinterested in your needs and can care less to help new clients. I've called him after getting a referral from his colleague Anthony Delgado, and it took him a day and half to get back with me, which is understandable, busy and all, no problem. During our conversation I shared my interests and goals I'm trying to achieve in purchasing a policy through all state, it was awkward waiting to hear his feed back after I finish speaking, he sounded very disinterested, and didn't know some of the terms I was using to describe some life insurance stuff. He was interested in making sure I know he sold policies for "10 million dollars" and told me he'd send me a calculator to plug in numbers to select my policy from, and that was the last I've heard from him. Never followed up, never sent anything! A true waste of your time. Also, Anthony Delgados agency were shady when called to get a home and renters insurance quote.
