  After having a very upsetting and frustrating experience at another PNC Bank branch following my father's passing, I cannot say enough about the outstanding service we received at the Union branch. The other branch refused to let me close my father's accounts, insisting that I needed additional paperwork from the Surrogate's Office related to my mother, who passed away nearly ten years ago. That paperwork was never actually required. When I tried to explain the situation, I felt dismissed, spoken down to, and treated as though I didn't understand what I was talking about. At a time when I was already grieving the loss of my father, the experience left me feeling defeated and overwhelmed. I then called the Union branch, and from the very first phone call, everyone was kind, patient, and professional. They scheduled an appointment for the very next day, and the entire process was completely different. Chelsea was phenomenal. She was knowledgeable, compassionate, and incredibly efficient, handling everything we needed in under an hour. She made what had been an incredibly stressful situation feel calm and manageable. Losing a parent is difficult enough without unnecessary obstacles. Chelsea and the team at the Union branch treated us with kindness, respect, and empathy, and I am truly grateful for the exceptional service they provided. They turned a very discouraging experience into one that restored my confidence in PNC Bank.

  Yesterday, I attempted an ATM withdrawal, and the machine failed to return my card. Upon contacting them today, I spoke with Manuel to arrange for card retrieval. Upon my visit, I was informed that my debit card had been shredded. This outcome is unsatisfactory and warrants further investigation.

  I would not recommend this bank. I felt very uncomfortable when I found out the assistant manager was punching my business partner to open an account with her to get commission for it. She also ask via my business partner via text message to send her a picture of my drivers license and social security to open me an account and I guess get commission out of it too. I suggest bankers don’t ask for personal information. 1) by text message 2) to someone that is not the person opening the account.
