- JAJorge AdamsMar 9, 20242.0Went in for a simple voided check to update my direct deposit and was told that I couldn’t get one for my own security safety. I was instead given a “professional” letter stating my personal information but with no reference to PNC whatsoever, and a certified PNC document that stated for I to give my employer the letter AND a copy of voided check for direct deposit change. Staff wasn’t very welcoming so I decided to go to another Plainfield branch but arrived too late because they weren’t letting customers in after 12:40pm on a Saturday. Now I have to wait until next week to set up my direct deposit because I work an on-site 9 to 5 job. Not so great experience with PNC Bank right now.

And they will treat you like you're an actual customer for 21 years and deserve to at the least be acknowledged when you walk in the door. I sat and waited alone for 15 minutes only to have Bruce the banker walk up to the next guy who came in after me and asked him if he needs help and completely not even acknowledge me. NEVER AGAIN.
