  After banking with PNC for nearly 50 years, I have withdrawn all of my funds and opened an account with Fulton Bank. What prompted this decision was a simple request: an increase in my ATM withdrawal limit. Somehow, accomplishing this seemingly straightforward task proved impossible. Every call resulted in being placed on hold for 30 to 40 minutes, and it routinely took over a minute for anyone to answer the phone. The level of customer service was unacceptable, especially for a long-time customer. The final straw was when the branch manager informed me that he could increase my ATM withdrawal limit—but only if I used the ATM at that specific branch. That completely defeats the purpose of an ATM withdrawal limit increase. People need access to their money while traveling, on vacation, out of town, or in another state. Restricting the increase to a single branch ATM is nonsensical and demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of why customers request higher limits in the first place. After five decades of loyalty, I expected far better treatment and far more competence. As a result, I have moved my banking relationship elsewhere and will also be moving my payment processing business away from PNC. This experience has been deeply disappointing and has shown me just how little value PNC places on long-term customers.

  I can't even begin to tell you that Mr. Darryl Jackson went above and beyond for my matter at hand!! He was conpassionate,professional and courteous. Your bank should feel blessed to have someone like him working for you!!

  Update: After speaking with a "DIFFERENT" branch, the matter was handled. It was during this time that I was informed that the 6 Centerton Road branch could have created a profile as I was physically in the branch with proper "Real" Identification and my daughter was in the PNC in a different state at the same time, speaking directly to staff at the Centerton Road branch in my presence but chose not to do "their job". Just because PNC has had issues with money laundering, you don't punish the people who want to deposit CASH. Now, I had a chain of custody for my CASH from PFFCU to show where the money came from but NO ONE in this branch offered any assistance. "Carol" aka Karen would only tell me that they could not accept cash or do anything for me. I was later told that this particular branch has issues with "certain people". Based on my experience and being one of those "certain people", I agree with that information 100%. Why couldn't someone do what a different branch did? Because they didn't want to help "ME". I wish I would've recorded this interaction as I would've posted it so you could see for yourself. I would never bank at PNC Bank and definitely NOT 6 Centerton Road Mt. Laurel, NJ

  My daughter is away from home and needed cash put into her account . I don’t have a PNC account. I went to the bank with cash to help resolve her emergency. I was informed by Carol, that PNC would NOT ACCEPT THE CASH OR ALLOW ME TO DEPOSIT CASH INTO HER ACCOUNT!!! Why?? Because I don’t have an account with them??!! I’ve never heard of such a thing in my life. My daughter wasn’t aware of this “New” policy according to Carol either. Carol also claimed that most banks won’t allow you to deposit cash into anyone’s account. So, beware of PNC Bank, if you have children away in college or even if an emergency arises, they won’t be there for you or your family.
