- FMFrank MunizMay 22, 20262.0I bank with PNC and usually have no issues. I have had a few experiences here that just leaves me not wanting to come here regardless of how convenient it is. I attempted to open an additional account - mind you I already bank here, savings and checking for years - and the gentleman was unable to get this going for me. Asked me for additional information to prove who I was on top of what I had already provided. I don't know if the system jams for them or he just didn't care - I felt like the latter was true. I was told they couldn't do anything, sorry, too bad and good luck. I left with nothing, only to go online once I got to my office and open it for myself via the PNC website, which made it far easier to deal with. So going here in person proves useless and I wasted an hour and was made to feel like an inconvenience or lesser. I have also been questioned on cashier's checks, which I don't get charged for. And told I need this and that, only for them to walk it back after a second or two of research. Which just do that before you make your clients feel like they are a problem. This all tells me that training and development lacks severely, as I have gone to different branches and have received a total 180 in service and how much they're willing to do to find me a resolution - which is why I remain banking with PNC. Avoid this place and just drive a few more miles down the road to get better service. Management really needs to reflect on their ways.

Clear knowledge gap when cashing in bonds / foreign currency so that even the bankers with offices don't know how to deal with the situation. Overall super friendly staff but very understaffed.
