  Came earlier today to cash a PNC check from My mother in law and the cashier, Uppity Asian girl, being trained by the Indian manager (saying this so you remember what happened, he seemed super nice and the black women who offered me tea and coffee and was surprised I left with no cash and even said aloud what happened as I left) was trying every way not to cash this check it was so wierd. Asking me 20 questions I even had to show my employer ID lol. Showed ID, social security card, credit cards but they weren’t legit cards ( side note ppl use these more) I came in hot and sweaty, out the gym, and she clearly just judged me and questioned me. The the irony was that I did set up a Pnc account but forgot and she STILL just wouldn’t cash the check lol don’t come to this bank they will judge you immediately. I was black I looked deshelved I know because I had a long morning but we know what you really did. The irony instead of mobile check like you suggested cuz you wouldn’t do it, I went to another bank and got it cashed in 2 min. Proves the racism.

  I went to this branch to reset my newly received ATM card, the assistant manager was extremely rude and told me I have to take off my headphones, excuse me??? I presented all my IDs, the IDs I presented to open the account at NY branch and answered all the security questions accurately. He showed me very bad attitude and rude behavior which is very unacceptable. He refused to provide services, the reason he gave me was not matching my id which is a complete lie. I have very unpleasant experience with him, as manager or as a banker gave me worst customer service, I don’t recommend anyone to go to this branch. I sense it’s a racism and some sort of discrimination. I would give him a zero star. No customer service skills.

  Paul at the PNC Bank Journal Square branch was outstanding—he helped me quickly unfreeze my business account and get everything back on track. He was professional, calm, and truly took ownership of the situation instead of sending me in circles. If you’re in Jersey City and need real help with business banking, ask for Paul.
