- SSSJul 10, 20251.0Went in to open an account at 430, bank closes at 5. 1 guy working the counter handling the 4 of us in line in the bank and the pile of cars outside the bank. one lady immediately to the left as you walk in, alone in her office ignoring the customers. Another person tot he right as soon as you walk in handling a customer. Another person in the lobby handling a customer and translating. The guy at the counter is handling the flow well, a few minutes go by (simple requests in front of me, drop and go) and I get up there and ask to open an account. He says that he can book a time for me tomorrow, I said I can’t, need to do it today. he says his 2 other people are handling customers already and the guy directly in front of me is waiting for one. I said “I can wait” as I had time and after all, the lady in the one office was not helping anyone and when I walked in, she was on her cell texting or something. The fellow at the counter blankly looks at me and says “they are busy” so I asked, are you telling me its 430, you don’t know how long they will take and even if 15 minutes only, you all close at 5 and you don’t want to process this type fo work this late in the day” and he nods his head. Fine, I will make my sizable deposit and back elsewhere.
