This bank is very rude. They treat you terribly. They are very judgemental and make their bank rules up as they go along. Don't bother with them.

The manager of this branch Martha Jackson was extremely rude and unprofessional. We had a bank account that was unexpectedly closed without reason and she spoke to us as if we were beneath her. I can understand if there’s nothing she can do, but that doesn’t constitute treating someone with disrespect, especially if they are a customer. We will most definitely be banking elsewhere. Do not bank at SouthState!

I opened an account online then made a mobile deposit a few days later. The next day I received an email stating my funds would be held for a week before I could access them. Now I have 25.00 to live on for a whole week. This how they treat new customers? Needless to say I made a big mistake by choosing this bank.
