- RLRuby LMay 20, 20261.0**Update: It has now been two weeks since I shared my experience, and I have still not received any acknowledgment or response from the business. I believe accountability and communication are important, especially when a customer expresses that they were hurt by an interaction. I called to inquire about their services because I needed paperwork completed by a court deadline. Instead of the receptionist answering my questions professionally, she laughed at me, repeatedly questioned why I was calling, and spoke in a very dismissive tone. When I expressed that her response felt rude, she HUNG UP on me. I called back hoping to speak with the owner or manager about the interaction, but she refused to provide the owner’s name and responded with, “You think I would actually give you that?” before hanging up on me a second time. The entire interaction was so unprofessional and hurtful that it genuinely made me cry afterward. I understand that offices can be busy, but there is no excuse for treating potential clients this way. Professionalism, empathy, and basic courtesy matter, especially in a field where clients are often already stressed about important financial or legal matters
