I was provided and signed a Loan Estimate stating I qualified for 75% LTV based on an AVM, and I relied on that information in good faith to pursue another property. After entering a contract, signing additional disclosures, and paying for inspections, I was later informed that the original loan terms were incorrect. By the time this was clarified, I had already incurred approximately $2,000 in out-of-pocket losses. While I understand loans can change, accurate disclosures are critical, especially when borrowers are making real financial decisions based on them. Unfortunately, no resolution or compensation was offered for the losses caused by this misrepresentation.
