Nice location to visit ATM or counter tellers. If this is the Holden Rd location. Loan or account department not the best location to do business with here. They try to may you feel like you work for them. This particular manager male tall European try to bully you into what you should do and not what you want to do. Lady and I went to get a loan and he was demanding applying a we weren't interested in. Guess since she was a female he thought this was ok. When I chimed in he wanted to get defensive. Needly to say we got what we wanted and not the loan he tried to convince her to get. The reason for the information is to make people aware of their behavior. Second situation... Just this past Friday we went end to pay a loan off early. Stopped at the desk to basically sign in to speak with loan rep. But the woman at the desk chose to handle herself. In this very order... we didn't sign in she asked for phone number. Then pulled up accounts. Asked which loan did we want to pay off. We told her and then she was told to take money from single checking to pay the loan off. She proceeded to do just that and was asked for a receipt. Then this woman ask to see her ID not bank card. So, I proceeded to ask : Let me understand you asking for telephone number and proceeded this transaction all without ever said or confirming it was actually her! She then asked am I mad at her. I replied what... I'm just trying to understand how you can go into someone's account with a phone number and not confirming its her actual account. She replied this has nothing to do with you and you can go sit down. I quickly let her know everything about this transaction has to do with me. Also that I'm not going no where. She then stated to us ... I never seen her and she could have stolen her information. Of course, I had to wrap my head around this comment. Understood that she be a European would have never accused another European of Identity theft. But why and who steals someone's Identity to pay a loan off that's never been late and has a credit score around 800. Only dropped because of getting loans here from 803. He first mistake was not ever confirming or asking for bank information from the start. But to feel you can say whatever you feel isn't professional and not intelligent. Especially since you're younger and under trained for your position. So, people be aware of the branch loan and accounts department. Greensboro, NC Holden Rd location... This was a great location when it first opened up and the manager from the Friendly/ W.Market St was place here to run it. Management changed and people as well as them feel arrogant.

I had a very uncomfortable experience at the State Employees’ Credit Union due to the behavior of a teller named. Cedarius When I walked in, the wait was already very long and it appeared the staff was limited. Several elderly, handicapped members were walking out, and I paused to respectfully allow them to pass. During this moment,Cedarius began signaling and giving me rude looks as if I needed to hurry to his counter, despite the fact that I was simply being courteous to those members. Once I reached the counter, I calmly asked why he was signaling me to rush when people were walking by. He responded in a very nonchalant manner and gave me a dismissive look, as if he didn’t care. I then asked the lady working the front if the woman on the right was the manager, and she confirmed that she was. Almost immediately after, security approached me in a rude and unnecessary way, which made the situation feel escalated and uncomfortable for no reason. I expect professionalism, respect, and understanding especially in a financial institution serving elderly and disabled members. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of that.
