I’ve received sub par service at this particular branch too many times to count now. After being with this institution for decades it’s sad that the branch closest to my home is the worst one I’ve visited. It’s typically slow, Especially when you need to see a banker. There’s one particular manager that’s been wrong on two occasions who wasn’t helpful even in her mistakes and I’ve had a few of the tellers provide poor customer service and made my banking experiences seem more like a hassle than their job. And it’s JUST this branch.

I do not live in Durham but I need to stop to bank to transact business while I was in the area… this is the most unprofessional group of bank folks I have dealt with. I needed a cashier check the lady waited on me had on mask and gloves and didn’t say 2-3 words. Candy bars were sitting on counter for purchase I ask her a question and she barely even open her mouth. NCSECU corporate staff you need to visit this bank as a regular customer to understand why I rate this place they way I did. If I ever need to stop to a bank In Durham again to transact business It won’t be this branch!

If your a first time home buyer do not go to this branch !!!!!!! I’ve had the worst absolute experience everyone was very nonchalant and really didn’t seem to care. No one even walked me thru any of the paperwork to further explain anything to me , buying a house for the first time is very stressful and I truly felt no one really cared and no one could even give me a postive answer on anything I asked . I spent a total of 4 one hr lunch breaks going around and around just to have to call secu to have things straightened out. This branch needs a serious wake up call on customer service , standards and knowledge
