- RSRegina ShawAug 8, 20131.0Here is a new one! I was robbed by the " Fat Cat"! Yester day I took over 150.00 worth of change which included 24 gold dollar to the credit union . The Fat Cat machine took the gold dollars but failed to calculate them. When the cat spit out 1/4 of the amount I put in, I immediately informed the teller of the situation. She was nonchalant in her response and another teller attempted help. She told me that they would compare the amount deposited with the receipts and call me tomorrow if the amounts did not match. I was ok with that answer as I knew the next day would bring positive results. To my dismay the call was not as expected, I was told that the machine was checked twice and there were no gold dollars in the machine. I have been saving the change to assist with paying my nieces college tuition, have had the same gold dollars for about 3 years and counted the money prior to bringing it to Fat Cat! I am left to assume that the cat ate my money, and since credit union employees say they can't find It the credit union has told me there is nothing they can do . Beware of the "Fat Cat"!
