- JAJoy ArmstrongAug 26, 20261.0So, while I was there at this bank the other day, I felt like Patricia Pechon discriminated against me because of my race. Patricia Pechon stated that she thought that I was very unintelligent as she asked if there was something wrong with me. I proceeded to ask her, why did she asked? She later advised that if you wanted to make a withdrawal from your ROTH IRA, that the money has to deposited into an account, however according to the rules to of withdrawing from a valid deposit account, there is an form that has to completed in order to make the withdrawal as the Roth IRA is considered tax deductible, and thus once signed, the withdrawal can be completed. According, with other banks that are State Employees Credit Union in this area, this form has to completed and signed before making the withdrawal from the valid account. I’ve never really had an issue with completing this action as in most cases, this action is pretty simple and once signed the form, the withdrawal can be completed successfully. I felt like Patricia Pechon discriminated against me because of this withdrawal rule since I was African American and she thought maybe I didn’t know this rule. When I came back to close the account because I felt like I was discriminated against, nothing was done to Patricia Pechon for her actions, although I spoke to someone upstairs about it the next day. Also, she shakes her head, as an African American enters the room. She feels like all black people are dumb. Don’t go bank with this bank if you’re a black African American woman in the future. 😊
