I had a very positive experience at State Employees’ Credit Union. The branch is modern, spacious, and exceptionally bright, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. The facility is well maintained, with a clean layout and convenient amenities, including drive-thru lanes and a coin-counting machine.
What stood out most was the excellent customer service. The staff were friendly, professional, and efficient. There were very few customers during my visit, so I was helped almost immediately, and my transaction was completed quickly without any hassle.
The reason for my four-star rating is simply that there is always room for improvement, but overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. If you value a clean, comfortable banking environment and fast, courteous service, this branch is a great choice.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for efficient and friendly banking services.

This is the most unprofessional incompetent bank I have ever dealt with. They have untrained people managing transactions that they have no idea how to do. The lady working with us was running around the entire bank asking multiple people questions to verify and over. When asked how long it would take she told me maybe an hour (this after we had already been here for an hour) for a simple car purchase. I have bought and sold many cars and have never had to wait this long. The manager was of no help either.
This place is a joke. They hide behind being a credit Union so I guess that means they are allowed to be incompetent and have the lowest standards possible. Save yourself the time and frustration and find yourself a “real” banking institution.

This is my second time encountering the Indian lady at the teller. She need more training! If you are not sure of something PLEASE stop assuming things that you don’t know! Then get an attitude when I tell you that you are wrong because I LITERALLY just got off the phone with the branch before coming in. She finally then called to ask someone and tried to make it seem like I was the crazy one. I saw her laughing on the low while telling whoever she was talking to that “it’s a Monday “. No, it’s called you are not keeping track of the updates at the branch and DONT KNOW!!!!! I will not go to her again if I can help it! This is the SECU in Apex NC.
