  I've been a Blaze CU customer for over a decade when they were formally known as Hiway. This review is specifically for the Fraud dept. I was sent a fraud alert message on May 3rd. Apparently, there were unauthorized charges on my debit card. The following day, I contacted the fraud department for assistance. The young lady helped me with the fraud claim and sent a new debit card in the mail. Two days later, I received my new debit card. I was highly impressed and wanted to show praise to the fraudulent department for performing an outstanding job! Kudos to the young lady I spoke with on Monday, May 4th around 9am. Oftentimes, when people write reviews it's normally negative but I'm happy to be a long-term customer that chose to highlight outstanding customer service.

  Fair warning: if you are looking to refinance an auto loan with a great credit score look elsewhere! I made the mistake of not reading the fine print and found out that Blaze will do a hard credit inquiry before even offering auto refinance options. I have outstanding credit and got a crummy rate from them compared to others. Other auto refinance lenders will do a soft inquiry first and give you the rate range from that. Blaze offers you nothing until you fill out an application which authorizes them to run a hard inquiry and then offer options. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere to refinance your auto loan.

  Came in today to open up a checking and savings account. I had a fantastic time and experience with JD was not only professional, but was also able to show his personality. You don’t find many ppl with that ability. He explained everything to me well and provided all info I’d need to build my goals up as well! Please give this man a raise yo!

  This credit union cares about its people, we really matter. I appreciate this about them more than words can express. People centered banking seemed to becoming a thing of the past, Blaze Credit Union still has it!

  People are usually friendly, and they're normally efficient but the drive thru is always SLOW. They were slow before and now they're doing this thing where you tell them what you want to do, but don't fill out a slip. Maybe they think it's more personal, and that's great, but in the drive thru I just want efficient, fast and a "Have a nice day!" Today it took them 6 minutes just to get to me, she was stoic but professional, and I asked for certain bills but didn't get them. I couldn't ask her to change them because I was now late to work and that would've taken another 5 minutes because they have to put the cash back in your account and withdrawal again, just to get different bills.
