  Terrible the last five years. We have been customers of the St Michael branch since 1997. Firstly, TWO YEARS IN A ROW, they sent out the wrong interest earned amounts for filing taxes. You would think they would have learned the first year they screwed it up. Secondly, I deposited a paper check from the state of MN at the drive up window. The teller deposited it in another person's account. The following week it took them 4 different phones calls to get their error resolved. Thirdly, when opening a third account, the banker said she could not give me the new account paperwork to take home. Why I do not know. She then called me to say the signatures we did at the bank didnt work correctly with her computer so we would have to sign them again. She sent a docusign email. We signed and sent them back to her. She said she didnt get them. Had to do another docusign for her and resend again. She said she would mail the new account copies to us. We never got them in the mail. The bank is in St Michael and we live in St Michael. How hard could it be. After two weeks of waiting for that piece of mail, she said their mail gets processed in St Paul and then gets sent back to St Michael. Most ridiculous thing Ive ever heard. She said she would mail it out again. Never got it the second time either. Finally, I stopped at the bank and she was able to print out a paper copy for me to take home. Which is what she should have done in the first place upon opening the account. 4 strikes and your out Highland bank. I opened bank accounts at another bank in town. My spouse, because they are impossible, would not agree to move their money. You two deserve each other.

  We experienced the misfortune of having criminals writing forged checks on our Highland Bank account. We first learned of this by phone call from Atalie, and within a short time we were sitting with her signing affidavits, closing the account, and opening a new account. She saw it that all the actions were taken to block these criminals, while at the same time verifying legitimate incoming deposits and checks so that those could transfer to our new account. Because of Atalie’s kind and professional handling of this we suffered no loss, and found that Highland Bank lived up to every promise they made! This is a bank you can rely on!

  Atalie was extremely helpful and efficient in shifting our accounts with Highland Bank. She answered our questioned and guided us through the process making it easy and stress free.

  I stop in this location quite often for Pizza Hut and I have been treated very well by the Staff always nice to see smiling faces Atalie has helped me many times and I always leave the bank happier.
